jade and ace

..those are the names of my new kittens. i pick them up tonight..woohoo!! cant wait :) kinda nervous, but all will be good. im sure ill be writing about them in the near future.

ok so u know what annoys me? when people ask for something and after u've done it twice (because they never really told u what they wanted) they finally give u the details of what they really want.

i am creating this logo. i was told that she wanted a bear with a cell phone or briefcase. i think, ok, no sweat..went into my huge clipart gallery, found a cute bear, added a cellphone and voila! sent it out..so a lil later i get a message "no this isnt what i need. i think its a little too juvenile for the audience." i think, ok, i can do less juvenile. i get a graphic of an actual bear instead of a teddy bear, add the phone, and again, voila! perfect i think. send it off....get a message back. and this is when i learn what it actually is that she wants. she writes back -->

"well i was actually thinking more along the lines of a bear walking, carrying a briefcase and wearing a tie."

HAHA - ok now...that's so different. that takes way more time. u cant just find that. thats gonna have to be created. Im going to have to draw that. some people. just tell me that from the beginning and u woulda saved me like 2hrs work!!!
